How do I send eBooks to my I-phone/I-pod touch?


1.Download Stanza Desktop

Stanza Desktop is a free application to read electronic books using your computer. Based on the successful Stanza reading software developed for iPhone and iPod Touch, this tool allows you to read most type of documents in your computer, including ePub, TXT, DOC, RTF, HTML, LIT, and LRF. Its conversion capabilities will then allow you to upload them to your iPhone, iPod Touch, or Kindle.

How to install:

  • Download Stanza Desktop here. 
  • Click next.
  • Choose the folder you wish to install the program to.
  • Once the file has downloaded, double click and follow instructions to install.


2.Download Stanza App for your I-phone/I-pod touch.

  • NB.You must have iTunes installed on your system in order to download any app to your I-phone.
  • Download Stanza through the apps store in iTunes or use this link: http://www.lexcycle.com/download-iphone
  • Once the app is downloaded in iTunes, transfer to your iPhone via your usb cable.
  • You are now ready to read books on your handheld device!

4.How do I send eBooks to myI-phone/I-pod touch?

Sharing using Stanza Desktop

The dedicated Stanza iPhone application, which can be downloaded onto theiPhone via the Apple App Store, can upload books from your computer using Stanza Desktop. The Stanza Desktop application is currently available for Apple Macintosh and Windows computers from http://download.lexcycle.com.

  1. Launch Stanza Desktop.
  2. Go to File->Open, and open a book or document in one of Stanza's supported formats. Note: The text of eReader books will not be displayed, but you can still use this interface to share books with Stanza iPhone.
  3. Go to the "Tools" menu, and ensure that the "Enable Sharing" menu item is checked.
  4. Ensure that your iPhone is connected to the same wireless network that your PC is on.
  5. Launch Stanza on your iPhone.
  6. From the top-level library menu, select "Shared Books". You should see your computer name. Select it.
  7. Stanza Desktop will then notify you that your iPhone is attempting to connect to your shared library, and request your permission to allow the connection.
  8. Once you have granted permission, Stanza iPhone will display a list of books that are open in Stanza Desktop.
  9. Tap on the book to download it Stanza on your iPhone. It will appear in Titles and Recent Downloads.
